The KGT100/72Â back-box is designed to be used with any of single gang stainless steel finished KFH top sections in a screed floor application.
The KGT100/72 screed back box should be installed with the boxes top flange set level to the surface height of the surrounding floor finish. The screed back box is supplied with a temporary wood inset to protect the internal fixing points and electrics within the box during wet trade work and to help maintain the integrity of the floor during fit out. The wooden insert can be removed when all wet trades are finished and it is safe to install the stainless-steel top section, The back box can also be fitted with levelling anchors (REF:KFA1003) for difficult floor areas. Two or more boxes can also be joined together to form a power pod. Use the KFA1002 joiner clip.
Internally the back-box features a small sump/reservoir section which is positioned beneath a weep hole in the top section. A silicon tube (supplied) connects to the boxes drainage system. Any water which accidentally gets into the outlet should be directed through the drainage system and out of the back-box.
The back-box has 3 conduit openings of 20mm and 1 opening 22mm in diameter.
