KSE46U/23/72 Stainless steel – 13amp socket – Cat6 Data

The KSE46U/23/72 top section has both a 13amp power socket and Cat 6 data module in the one housing. A manual slide lid lock opens and closes the watertight lid.
The top section requires a back box. For screed floors select KGE170/23 and for cavity floors KGE170TF/23.
When closed the screed version sits flush within the floor surface and achieves an IP66 waterproof and dust seal rating. When in use and open it is IP20 rated.
The cavity floor version sits 3mm above the surrounding floor surface. When in use, the open lid is locked into a partially open position and protects the plug top from accidental foot traffic.
The assembled floor box has an internal drainage system which is designed to guide any water that enters the outlet away from the power socket and into an internal reservoir which in turn can be plumbed to expel water from the outlet.
The Simon-box is installed in a wide range of commercial and domestic projects throughout the UK. It allows for the safe wet wash cleaning of hard floor areas and provides convenient power points in open floor areas. No long trailing cables, just convenient and safe access to power whenever required.
